Sungwon Safety Co., Ltd. — A Specialized Disaster Prevention Company
As a specialized disaster prevention company, Sungwon Safety Co., Ltd. is dedicated to protecting people’s lives and property from natural disasters, collapses of civil structures, and rockfalls.
With over 30 years of unparalleled technical expertise and construction know-how, we realize the value of safety through precise analysis of hazardous areas and the application of optimal engineering methods.
We provide customized rockfall prevention systems for all sites at risk of landslides or slope collapses.
Beyond simply supplying products, we take full responsibility — from site-specific design to flawless construction — ensuring complete safety and reliability.
Wiring Net
The Wiring Net is a steel mesh structure designed to protect roads and facilities from landslides and falling rocks. Sungwon Safety Co., Ltd.’s Wiring Net features exceptional tensile strength and durability, enabling it to effectively absorb and disperse impact forces, providing highly reliable rockfall control.
Binding-Type Rockfall Protection Net
This method forms a star-shaped impact absorption unit by connecting wire ropes through a central fixing plate. The unit is secured closely to the slope using rock bolts (anchoring wedges), and the spring-coupled net rings provide excellent shock absorption. Additionally, it allows integration with standard rockfall protection nets, enhancing both safety and adaptability on site.
Rockfall Protection Fence (Ratchet Type)
The ratchet-type rockfall protection fence is a specialized method developed to enhance impact absorption and maintenance efficiency. It employs a ratchet locking mechanism that adjusts and maintains the tension of wire ropes, effectively overcoming the limitations of conventional systems — such as low shock absorption, the need for full-section dismantling after damage, and high maintenance costs.
Rockfall Protection Fence (Splice Type)
This technology focuses on effectively absorbing and cushioning the impact caused by falling rocks. By installing a splice (shock absorption device) at the end of the wire ropes, the system absorbs and disperses the impact energy, preventing damage to the entire fence and blocking rocks from entering the roadway. Unlike conventional rockfall fences that rely solely on the tensile strength of posts and wire ropes to withstand impact, this method dissipates the kinetic energy of falling rocks through its integrated shock absorption mechanism.
SA Permanent Anchor
After drilling, the anchor head is secured by tightening the nut so that the wedge cone fits precisely with the anchoring blades on the fixing head, while the PC strands are tensioned to prevent slack. This method enhances bearing capacity during ground movement and ensures sufficient pull-out strength before grouting, resulting in a simple and efficient construction process.
SW Soil Nailing
By inserting nails into the ground at close intervals, this method increases the natural ground’s resistance and shear strength, ensuring slope stability and minimizing displacement. SW Soil Nailing specifically enhances overall shear capacity by installing four auxiliary reinforcing bars at regular intervals within each drilled hole. A bearing-type bolt head is attached to the reinforcement head, pressing the bearing plate tightly against the slope surface, thereby minimizing deformation and improving structural integrity.
